It’s late at night.  The scent of Lilac in the air.  Ian Gomm “Hold On” is drifting back from the single speaker on the dash.  This was the moment Bob Shannon knew music would be a big part of his life. A life-long musician, he’s a self-proclaimed music scholar and has spent the majority of his life packing his skull with music and music trivia. The perfect host for the Q100 Michigan Music Connection. 

It's a weekly show dedicated to Michigan Artists and the music they create, both local and national.  It is a dynamic mix of modern and classic Michigan Rock and pop, often presented in a stark contrast, ultimately revealing similarities, woven together with anecdotes and stories from Bob's musical experiences.
