JOB DESCRIPTION: OPERATION MANAGER

Blarney Stone Broadcasting, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Operation Manager.  This leadership role includes the strategic implementation, management and execution of our IT, Automation and Traffic/Billing Systems, as well as the management of our two studio locations and tower/transmitter sites.  Ultimately, work with owners to keep strong brands on-air and on-line while working to generate profits. 

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to reliability, excellent communication and time management skills and complete projects as planned.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• 24/7 Monitor, Maintain, improve and repair all automation, studio/transmitter equipment and IT systems company wide
• Traffic of Daily/Event/Sports Logs including Reconciliation
• Manage Sports and play-by-play programming including scheduling, automation and delivery of content

QUALIFICATIONS

• Team-oriented problem solver with superior organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of radio broadcasting inventory management software capabilities; network capabilities and automation interactions
• Proven Leader with experience in broadcasting and sports programming preferred
