Ever Wonder How Tough the Au Sable River Canoe Marathon Is?

Join us for the first annual Pro’s and Joe’s Paddle Challenge—a fun, friendly race on the Au Sable River that supports River House Shelter, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping families in crisis. Fans are encouraged to donate in support of their favorite team—Team Rich or Team JC—and be part of something meaningful.

Local radio hosts Rich Calkins and Jerry Coyne (JC) from Friday Face Off on WGRY 101.1 FM will team up with paddling legends Jeff Kolka and Bill Torongo to race from Penrod’s Canoe Livery to Burton’s Landing, the first timed checkpoint on the Au Sable Canoe Marathon course—about 6 miles downriver.
